When money is tight, and any extra you do have is spent on the kids, the idea of spending a few hours at a spa is pushed away quickly. You just cannot justify spending the money on yourself. However, there are actually a few very good reasons for having a massage.

Reduce Migraines and Tension Headaches

Hormonal mood swings are not fun for you, your children or your partner. Add back pain, bloating and fluid retention to the mix and you have a few days where you do not want to be around anyone. Think of how happy your kids will be when you decide to go to the park with them and join in on the activities instead of staying home with a headache or feeling rotten with PMS symptoms. Sure, you may not be able to get them the new video game they wanted this week, but the trade-off is more than worth it.
